On September 29 the Fisher CIO Leadership Program of the Haas School of Business at UC-Berkeley and Gartner’s Executive Programs team will join fellow CIOs and special guests to present the annual Landmark CIO Community Event and Celebratory Banquet and honor this year’s winner of the fifth Fisher-Hopper Prize for Lifetime Achievement in CIO Leadership.

This event is invitation-only. If you have received an invitation you can register here.

In the afternoon, at the University Club atop UC Berkeley’s Memorial Stadium, Gartner Executive Programs will hold the “Becoming a Digital CIO” seminar, featuring distinguished Berkeley faculty Dacher Keltner and Michael Franklin, and the present or former CIOs of Merrill Lynch, NASDAQ, Symantec, Walmart, Raytheon, and others, plus Gartner executives Dale Kutnick and Graham Waller.

In the evening, at the UC Berkeley faculty Club, enjoy the Celebratory Banquet to honor the Renaissance CIOs and the winner of the fourth Fisher-Hopper Prize.

At the Celebratory Banquet, the Fisher CIO Leadership Program will award the fifth Fisher-Hopper Prize For Lifetime Achievement in CIO Leadership. This prize is awarded annually in memory of two extraordinary individuals, Don Fisher, the co-founder of The Gap, and Max Hopper, the author of American Airline’s SABRE Systems. The prize is intended to honor a currently active CIO for his or her lifetime achievements in CIO Leadership.
