Brett has many years of
experience in marketing, engineering, sales, and operations.
Most recently, Brett has led the marketing and sales efforts for
a voice over IP start-up, called IP Unity. Prior to that, he
spent five years at Gartner, in roles ranging from Principal
Analyst, Public Networks; Chief Analyst, Telecommunications; to
Group Vice President, and Head of Research for Gartner’s G2
research division. In these roles, Brett was responsible for
building and launching dozens of new research programs as well
as integrating several acquired businesses into Gartner. Before
joining Gartner, Brett held a range of positions within Pacific
Bell including, Head of Data Services and New Product
Development at Pacific Bell’s long-distance arm; Head of AIN and
Advanced Voice Product Development; Program Leader for ATM
product development; Project Leader to build the company-wide
ISDN service center; Engineering Manager for new switching
technologies; and Senior Engineer for new technologies. Brett is
a member of the American Management Association. He earned a
B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University
of California at Davis. |
